Troubleshooting
Installation issues - Ensure you have the necessary permissions in both Slack and Chamelio. Contact your Slack workspace administrator for approval if needed. Integration not working - Verify the app is properly installed in your workspace and that permissions haven’t been changed. Share results in channels or DMs to confirm the app is responding. Chamelio doesn’t respond, or replies “Could not identify your workspace.” - Chamelio couldn’t link your Slack user to a Chamelio user who can use the AI Agent. Check the following:- Connect your own Slack account in Settings > My integrations. See Connect your own Slack account.
- Make sure you’re an Agent User. Ask an Admin if you’re not sure.
- Make sure your Slack email matches your Chamelio email. Connecting your own account in step 1 avoids this issue.
