How it works
Every workflow begins with an Intake step. When the Intake starts from Manual and the workflow is published, it can be started in two ways: by someone filling in the request form in Chamelio, or by another system sending the same fields through the API. From there, the workflow runs exactly as you built it. That means a request can begin wherever your teams already work. A few examples:Keeping your other systems up to date
The connection can work in both directions. Webhooks let Chamelio notify your systems when a task is created, moves to a new step, gets a comment, or completes, and when a document is added to the Knowledge Center. Your systems can also look up a task or get its signed documents through the API, so nobody has to copy details from one tool to another.Planning a connection with us
Every company’s systems are set up differently, so these connections are planned together with your organization. Your Chamelio legal engineer will help you decide which workflows to connect, which details each system should send and receive, and how to set up access. Using a system that isn’t mentioned here? Ask your Chamelio legal engineer. If it can call an API or receive a webhook, we can work with you to connect it.Chamelio API reference
