The Chamelio Slack app connects your contract repository, policies, and playbooks directly to Slack channels. Business teams can ask questions in Slack; answers come from the documents in your Chamelio workspace. Chamelio links automatically expand in Slack.- Smart Legal Intake - Requests to the legal team start in Slack and route to the right workflow. Requesters either fill in a Slack form, or start a request by mentioning Chamelio in a channel you pick. Mentions can include several files (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, XLS, or CSV), and Chamelio attaches all of them to the request.
- Conversational Legal Assistant - Add Chamelio to any Slack channel and mention @chamelio to ask legal questions. The AI searches your repository, policies, and playbooks to answer in the conversation thread.
What you need
- A Chamelio admin installs the Chamelio app for your organization. If they aren’t a Slack admin, Slack asks a Slack admin to approve the install.
- Each person who uses Chamelio in Slack connects their own Slack account to Chamelio.
- The AI assistant in Slack needs a paid Slack plan, and the person asking must be a Chamelio Agent User.
Your Slack connection is only used to link your Chamelio and Slack accounts. No personal information from Slack is accessed or used without explicit permission. All use is subject to our privacy policy.
