Groups help organize users in Chamelio. You can create groups by department, role, or any other structure — then use them to manage document access and permissions at scale.

Accessing Groups

Navigate to Settings > Groups at app.chamelio.ai/settings. Admin access is required.

Creating a Group

Go to the Groups section

Open Settings and select the Groups tab.

Create a new group

Click the “Create new group” button.

Name the group

Enter a descriptive name for the group (e.g., “Legal Team”, “Finance”, “Sales”).

Assign members

Add users to the group. Each group displays its member count.

Managing Groups

  • Use the search bar to find specific groups in large organizations
  • Edit or delete groups using the icons next to each group entry
  • Each group shows its member count at a glance
