The Emails section in Settings gives you control over how documents are forwarded into Chamelio’s Knowledge Center and which email addresses are authorized to send them.

Accessing Email Settings

Navigate to Settings > Emails at app.chamelio.ai/settings. Admin access is required.

Forwarding Address

Every organization has a unique forwarding email address (e.g., contracts@chamelio.ai). Send any document to this address to automatically add it to the Knowledge Center. This is useful for:
  • Capturing incoming contracts from counterparties
  • Forwarding signed agreements from your inbox
  • Submitting documents without logging in to Chamelio

Authorized Senders

By default, only users within your organization can forward documents. The Authorized Senders section lets you extend this to external parties. To add an authorized sender:

Locate the Authorized Senders section

Find the email input field in the Authorized Senders area.

Enter the email address

Type the external email address you want to authorize (e.g., a client, partner, or contractor).

Click Add

Click the “Add” button to save the authorized sender.
Any email from an authorized sender is accepted for document forwarding, even if they are not a Chamelio user.

Notification Email for Authorized Contacts

You can set up a notification email address that receives alerts when:
  • An authorized external contact successfully forwards a document
  • A forwarding attempt fails
This keeps your team informed when documents arrive from outside your organization.

Recent Activity

The Recent Activity log shows a history of all forwarded emails, including:
  • Sender information
  • Subject lines
  • Submission dates
  • Delivery status
Use this to track document submissions and troubleshoot any forwarding issues.
