Chamelio Sign lets you send a document for signature on its own, without a flow. To collect signatures as part of a flow, use the Sign step instead.

Getting Started

Click Sign in the left sidebar. Your envelopes are split across four tabs: Sent, Received, Completed, and Draft. Use Search and Filters to find one.

Send a document for signature

Click Set up envelope and work through the four steps. Click Save draft at any point to finish later - the envelope appears in the Draft tab.

Upload document

Enter an Envelope name and upload a PDF or DOCX file (up to 100 MB). This step also has a Save to contracts toggle.

Add recipients

Add people under Counter party (name and email) and User party (people in your organization). Set each recipient as a Signer or a Viewer - viewers receive a completed copy but don’t sign.Keep Sign in order on to require signatures in the order shown. Use Swap party order to swap the Counter party and User party.

Message

Enter the Subject and message recipients will receive.

Review fields

Place fields on the document for each recipient: Signature, Initials, Text field, Date, Checkbox, Radio buttons, Dropdown, or Stamp. When everything is in place, click Send.

Track an envelope

Click an envelope to see its Status, when it Expires, the Sender, Signing progress, its recipients, the message, and an Activity timeline. Click View document to open the document. To void an envelope, open its ⋮ menu and select Void envelope.
