Common Issues and Resolutions

Login Problems

  • Check your email address: Ensure you’re using the correct email address for your Chamelio account
  • Reset your password: Use “Forgot Password?” on the login page to reset your password if needed
  • Check for typos: Verify there are no spelling errors in your email or password

Word Add-in Issues

If you’re experiencing issues with the Chamelio Word Add-in:
  1. Clear the web cache:
    • Click the info icon (i) in the top right corner of the add-in
    • Select “Clear Web Cache”
    • Click “Reload”
  2. Restart Microsoft Word completely
  3. Check add-in permissions in Word settings

Web App Problems

For issues with the Chamelio web application:
  1. Clear browser cache and cookies:
    • Go to your browser settings
    • Clear browsing data for Chamelio
    • Close and reopen your browser
  2. Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  3. Disable browser extensions temporarily to check for conflicts
  4. Log back in after clearing cache

Network Connectivity

If you’re having trouble connecting to Chamelio:
  1. Try an alternative network:
    • Use mobile hotspot if on office WiFi
    • Switch to a different WiFi network
  2. Check with your IT team:
    • Corporate firewalls may block Chamelio
    • Ask IT to whitelist Chamelio domains
  3. Test your internet connection with other applications
