When the Web Agent conducts legal research or analyzes external sources, it relies on a context window: its working capacity for processing information at the same time. The context window determines how much material the Agent can actively evaluate together in a single step.

What the context window includes

The context window is the maximum volume of text the Web Agent can process at once, measured in tokens. It can include:
  • Content pulled from relevant web pages
  • Information already discussed in the conversation
  • Files attached to the conversation
  • Your current request or follow-up instructions
A larger context window lets the Agent work with more material at once, so it needs to discard less of what came before.

The Agent can evaluate multiple sources together instead of reviewing each one in isolation
