The Sign component manages contract signing and finalization, integrating with DocuSign or using Chamelio Sign — Chamelio’s native signing capability — to collect signatures from all required parties.

Video Walkthrough

Use When

  • A document is finalized and ready to be signed by internal and/or external parties

Configuration

  • Documents for signing — select the document to send, via Add from flow
  • Signature ProviderDocuSign or Chamelio Sign
  • Signature coordinator — who manages the signing task, via User Assign
  • Auto-self sign configuration — toggle; defines what goes into each signature field automatically
  • Signers — assign each party a role (viewer or signer) — a Counter party section (name, signer role) and a User Party section (Set assignment, plus Add More for additional internal signers)
  • Message — Subject and body sent to signers
  • Save final signed copy to repository — toggle; automatically archives the fully signed PDF after completion
  • Envelope settingsAuto send (send immediately), Auto draft (create a draft automatically), or Manual (wait for someone to create and send the envelope)
There’s no AI-assisted pre-signature review step and no built-in conditional logic for who must sign based on contract value — signers are assigned directly in this panel. If you need value-based signer routing, use a Condition or Customization step earlier in the flow to set the right assignee before the Sign step runs.
