# HubSpot

> Connect HubSpot to start flows from HubSpot deals, contacts, and companies, fill intake fields from the record, and work on Chamelio tasks from inside HubSpot.

HubSpot connects Chamelio to your CRM, so legal requests start from the deal, contact, or company your team already works in. Chamelio fills the request from the record, and reps follow the request from HubSpot.

> [!NOTE]
>
> HubSpot is turned on per organization. If you don't see **HubSpot** in **Settings** > **Org Integrations**, ask your Chamelio legal engineer to turn it on.

## What you can do

* **Start a flow from a HubSpot record.** Set a flow's intake to **HubSpot**, and the flow starts from a deal, contact, or company.
* **Fill the request from the record.** Map each intake field to a HubSpot field, so requesters don't retype data that's already in HubSpot.
* **Work from HubSpot.** The Chamelio card on a HubSpot record lists the record's Chamelio tasks and opens them inside HubSpot.

## Connect HubSpot

**1. Open Org Integrations**

In Chamelio, go to **Settings** > **Org Integrations**.

**2. Connect HubSpot**

On the **Hubspot** card, click **Connect**. HubSpot opens in a new tab.

**3. Approve access in HubSpot**

Sign in to HubSpot and approve the access Chamelio asks for. When you're done, the **Hubspot** card in Chamelio shows HubSpot as connected.

Connect with a shared company account, not a person's own account, so the connection keeps working when people leave. See [Use a shared IT account](https://docs.chamelio.ai/guides/integrations/summary.md#use-a-shared-it-account-for-organization-connections). For the HubSpot access Chamelio asks for, see [What access does the HubSpot app need?](https://docs.chamelio.ai/guides/integrations/connect-other-systems.md#common-questions).

## Start a flow from HubSpot

**1. Choose HubSpot as the source**

Open the flow in the flow builder. In the **Intake** step, select **HubSpot** under **Start from...**.

**2. Choose the object type**

Under **HubSpot object type**, pick the record the flow starts from: **Deal**, **Contact**, or **Company**.

**3. Map intake fields**

Open an intake field and use the **HubSpot field** picker to choose the HubSpot field that fills it. To use a field from a linked record, open the record under **Related** and pick a field there.

**4. Map table fields**

For a **Table** field, choose the HubSpot object that fills the table, then map each column to a field on that object.

**5. Run a test**

Click **Run test** and enter the ID of a HubSpot record. Chamelio shows the value each mapped field would get from that record, so you can check the mapping before you publish.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Changing the object type after you've mapped fields clears the HubSpot field mappings.

For the full intake setup, see [Intake](https://docs.chamelio.ai/features/flows/intake.md). For how CRM flows run from request to signature, see [From CRM to signed contract](https://docs.chamelio.ai/guides/from-crm-to-signed-contract.md).

## Work from the HubSpot record

When HubSpot is connected, a Chamelio card shows on HubSpot records. From the card, reps can:

* Start a flow for the record.
* See the record's Chamelio tasks and where each one stands.
* Open a task to approve, comment, see its files and signed documents, upload a new negotiation version, and read the activity log.

A rep can open a task's current step inside HubSpot when their HubSpot email address matches a Chamelio account. Reps without a matching Chamelio account see the record's tasks, but not the step itself.
