# Editing Intake Fields and Re-Running a Task

> Update the information a running task was built on, and have it re-run automatically

To update information in a task that's already running, go to the **Fields** section and enter your changes. Because these details form the foundation of the work, they can't take effect instantly.

  Your change request is sent to the Task Manager, who must review and approve the new information before it applies. Once approved, the system automatically re-runs the task from the beginning using the new data, so the final result reflects it accurately.
