# Activating Your Account

> Step-by-step guide to activating your Chamelio account and setting up your password

# Activating Your Account

Follow these steps to activate your Chamelio account and get started with the platform.

## Initial Activation Process

    Look for an invitation email from **[info@chamelio.ai](mailto:info@chamelio.ai)** in your inbox
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Set Password">
    Open the email and click the **Set Password** button
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter Your Details">
    Fill in your information and create a secure password
  </Step>

## Password Requirements

  Your password must meet the following criteria:

  * At least 8 characters long
  * Include at least one number
</Info>

## Troubleshooting

### Didn't Receive the Email?

<Warning>
  If you don't see the invitation email, check these locations first:
</Warning>

1. **Check your spam/junk folder** - Invitation emails sometimes get filtered
2. **Search for "chamelio"** in your email client
3. **Contact support** at [support@chamelio.ai](mailto:support@chamelio.ai) if you still can't find it

### Expired Invitation Link

<Tip>
  Invitation links are valid for 7 days. If yours has expired, follow these steps:

    Visit [app.chamelio.ai/login](https://app.chamelio.ai/login)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Forgot Password">
    Click **Forgot Password?** (even if you never set a password)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter Your Email">
    Use the same email address from the original invitation
  </Step>

  <Step title="Follow Instructions">
    Check your email and follow the new instructions to complete setup
  </Step>
</Steps>
